November 28, 2013 – To Our Friends in the US – HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

November 27, 2013

As we come closer to the end of yet another year, we recognize many things that we can be thankful for.  This Thursday, as is the tradition for many years, our friends in the United States of America will be spending time to commemorate and celebrate the annual Thanksgiving holidays.  This is a traditional time in the US for remembering all the wonderful things that we have been blessed with and giving thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

At The Financial Risk Institute (FinRisk), we also have much to be thankful for.  We would first like to thank all the volunteers across the globe: in the US, the Americas, the UK and the European region, Singapore, Mongolia, elsewhere in Asia, and many more.  From the planting of the seed in April 2013 to today, we are seeing good progress across several fronts.  It is amazing what we can do together, directed just by a shared common cause – the promotion and furtherance of Financial Risk exchange and advocacy in practices and regulations. And also many thanks to so many who have started to join us in pursuing these common objectives. This is but just a start; and we will be on to something much bigger.  We encourage all of us to invite others who share common objectives to join us; the more we have, the easier and better will our efforts be to make FinRisk truly exceptional.

Now, to our friends in the US, Happy Thanksgiving.  Have a wonderful time of enjoying the presence of friends and loved ones as we remember the many blessings that we have.

Warmest Wishes,
Steven Lee
Chair, FinRisk Founding Committee
